Hayley Anne Hazelby

1984 - 2013

Hayley was an enthusiastic and dedicated colleague who worked for Youth Music for several years. Her bubbly and caring character meant she quickly made and kept strong relationships with staff, grant holders and young people.

Leafy

1983 - 2014

Leafy was born in Newcastle on May 11, 1983. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family.
David started learning the piano at an early age, and in his 63 years he rarely stopped playing. Having a love of classical music and teaching young children led him to graduate from the University of Manchester with a degree in education, specialising in Music. David went on to have a successful career as a teacher and head-teacher.
A talented drummer and passionate musician from Rome, Italy Matteo was born in Rome in 1986. He moved to London in 2010 to start a career as a professional musician. He joined Tech Music School and, a year later, he joined the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, where he started the BMus Degree course.
Eileen's son David says: "My mother died peacefully, aged 95 on 17 August 2012. She was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother and homemaker; selfless, devoted, caring, sacrificial and upright. "She loved music, particularly orchestral music and enjoyed going to the opera. In her younger days she played the piano well.
Christian John Fagg was born in Cleethorpes and was singing almost as soon as he could talk. He started teaching himself the guitar while at secondary school, and as his brother Kurtis was learning drums at the same time we had to apologise to the neighbours on a regular basis!
